Your Algarve villa is surrounded by panoramic views of the countryside, yet only 5 minutes from the bustling town of Moncarapacho with its pavement cafes and supermarkets for everyday essentials. The capital of the Eastern Algarve, Tavira, 10 minutes, take a stroll down by the river. Olhao is also 10 minutes away with its fresh fruit and veg markets, here you can chill out on the quayside a have a beer and watch the world go by, or go shopping thro the quaint lanes with their Portuguese cobbles. Still only 20 minutes from Faro Airport and the town with its shopping malls.
Car hire is essential to appreciate the beauty of this area.

You will find a booklet in the villa with all the places of interest, beaches, restaurants etc and how to get to them remember this is old Portugal where time has virtually stood still as far as the buildings are concerned, so never judge the restaurant by the outside, venture in thro the coffee bar section out to the back where you will be pleasantly surprised, plenty of excellent food at reasonable prices and of course cheap vino.

The villa is within easy distance of Fuseta and the beautiful safe beach there. Estoi with its Rococo palace now being developed into a Pousada and Roman ruins. Vila Real on the Spanish border is well worth a visit

The motorway serving the Algarve is brilliant, Seville is about 2 hours and Lisbon about 2.5 hours. Alternatively driving west for 30 minutes brings you into the heart of the Central Algarve for the major holiday attractions.
This is the home of golf so you are never more than 15 minutes from a popular course.

OR... you could just relax around the pool and do absolutely nothing !!
